Strategies and Research extends hearty congratulations to Nick Clegg as
Deputy Prime Minister of the UK, and to the Liberal Democrats, a member
of the governing coalition in Parliament. We are confident they will
bring fair and just change to Britain!
Further congratulations to Prime Minister David Cameron. At a time when politics in the United States is so often fraught with conflict and malice, it is encouraging to witness two political leaders willing to work together to find common ground. While no one is certain that the coalition between the Liberal Democrats and the Conservative party will be successful, it is exciting to see them establish commonality in seeking the greater good of the UK.
RBI has been a consultant to the Liberal Democrats since 1989. At that time, the Party had only 18 Members of Parliament; they now have 57 MPs. During the recent election, RBI provided strategic advice, including polling and debate preparation, to the Liberal Democrats. They represent the seventh head of state or governing party that RBI has helped elect. We are proud to have played a role in the accomplishments of Nick Clegg and the Liberal Democrats, to whom we send our happiest wishes.
